You can now delete your account — and download everything we hold

September 15, 2026

Hi,

A short note about some changes we made to our privacy policy on 31 August. Our policy says we'll email you when we make significant changes — so here we are.

Three of them are things you can now do that you couldn't before.

Delete your account, properly. In your Members dashboard, under Profile, there is now a Delete my account button. Our Terms had said you could do this since launch; until 31 August there was no such button, which was our mistake. There is now, and it runs an automated purge rather than waiting on someone to action it.

Download everything we hold on you. Same place, under Profile: Download my data. It is a JSON file, it downloads immediately, and it is everything we hold. Videos play on YouTube, so anything they hold is theirs — that one you would need to ask Google for.

See and clear your own reading history. Recently opened shows what you opened, when, and how many times. It is private to you, and you can clear it whenever you like from the Saved tab.

One change deserves a proper explanation rather than a line in a policy.

Deletion now completes after 60 days rather than 30. That is a recovery window, not a delay. Nothing is touched during it — sign in at any point and your account carries on exactly as it is, with nothing lost. It is there so that a deletion you did not mean is not the end of it.

We have also published our ICO registration number, ZB770840.

The full policy is at rugbyttl.app/privacy, and at rugbyttl.com/privacy.

Nothing here needs you to do anything. If you would like to use any of it, it is all in your Members dashboard at rugbyttl.app/members.

Thanks for reading,

Carl
